Guess the Eggs Competition - Terms and Conditions​
  1. To enter this competition, participants must:

    • Spend $10 in a single purchase at any retailer within the Central Market Arcade, Grote Street, Adelaide SA 5000.

    • Obtain their unique entry code flyer from the participating retailer at the time of purchase

    • Submit a ‘Guess the Eggs’ competition entry form online at CentralMarketArcade.com.au/Easter.

    • Retain a proof of purchase for the transaction

  2. You must be over 18 years of age to enter.

  3. Eligible entries must include a unique entry code.

  4. Participation is limited to one entry per day, per entrant. If more than one entry form is received from the same entrant on the same date, the entry submitted at the earliest time will be valid and all subsequent entries will be void.

  5. The ‘Guess the Eggs’ display can be viewed in-centre at the Central Market Arcade during the promotional period.

  6. The competition and promotional period starts on Monday 1 April 2019 7:00 am and ends on Tuesday 16 April 2019 at 11:59 pm.

  7. The prize pool includes the following:
    – One First prize: $3,000 in vouchers or store credit to spend at up to two participating Central Market Arcade retailers of the winner’s choice.

– One Second prize: $1,500 in vouchers or store credit to spend at up to two participating Central Market Arcade retailers of the winner’s choice.

– Five runner-up prizes: Haigh’s Easter hamper valued at $100 each.

  1. Prizes are not redeemable for cash and are not valid for partial payment of lay-by purchases.

  2. This competition is a game of skill and winners will be determined by City of Adelaide staff. Entries will be judged solely on accuracy of guess, based on participants correctly guessing the number of eggs in the display. Other chocolate objects and animals in the display are not included in the count.

  3. In the event that multiple entrants are eligible for prizes, the entry submitted at the earliest date and time will be determined as the winner.

  4. Entrants are only entitled to win one of the prizes.

  5. The official count of the display will occur on Friday 29 March 2019 by City of Adelaide staff prior to the competition beginning, and all entries will be assessed against this final sum as determined by the City of Adelaide staff. Other chocolate objects and animals in the display will not be included in the official count.

  6. Validity of entry: The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries, entry codes, proofs of purchase and eligible entrants (including an eligible entrant’s identity and age) and to disqualify any eligible entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

  7. The prize winners will be notified via email by 5:00pm on Wednesday 17 April 2019.
     

  8. If a prize winner does not respond within 24 hours, or collect the prize by 5:00 pm Friday 26 April 2019, or is unable to claim the prize then another winner will be selected.

  9. Prizes must be collected from 25 Pirie Street Adelaide by 26 April 2019 unless advised of an alternative, otherwise City of Adelaide reserve the right to pass prizes onto other eligible participants.
     

  10. The decision in relation to any aspect of this competition is final and no further correspondence will be entered into.

  11. City of Adelaide staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

  12. Central Market Arcade tenants, staff and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.

  13. The City of Adelaide makes no representation, expressly or implied, as to the quality, reliability or suitability of the prizes and expressly disclaims any liability. Any problems associated with the prizes should be brought to the attention of the respective supplier of the service.

  14. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by the organisations the prizes are from and valid for. As an entrant, you completely release these organisations.

  15. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram.

  16. As an entrant, you completely release Facebook and Instagram.

  17. Terms and conditions are subject to change without notice.

  18. Entrants shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
