Prepare for your Summer Vacay

We thought of it, so you don’t have to – let us make your vacation planning a little bit easier and a little less stressful. This is your comprehensive guide to summer vacation prep that every traveller-to-be needs to read!

Flight Centre

Vacation! Holiday! Flights! Flights? Thanks to the friendly staff at Flight Centre, booking your vacation has never been easier. With constant deals and ways to save you money on your trip, Flight Centre should be your first stop when planning your summer vacation. Stop in and start planning!

First Eastern FX Currency Exchange

Once your vacay destination is locked in, it’s time to think about the logistics. If you’re lucky enough to be travelling overseas, you’re going to need something other than an Aussie dollar. FX Currency Exchange is helpfully located within walking distance of Flight Centre, so you can go straight away to check out their conversion rates and make a request for the local currency you’ll be needing.

Telco

The next stop on your list should be Telco – you’re going to need an international phone plan to get you through your holiday, so you can keep everyone back home updated (and suitably jealous) of your travels. We recommend that whatever plan you choose, you make sure there is 4G data included. If you get lost in your destination country, you’re going to want to be able to get onto Google Maps, trust us. And if you’re not directionally challenged, having enough data will come in handy when you need to post those pics to Facebook!

Chemist Warehouse

Head over to Chemist Warehouse to look at their range of travel accessories. Not only do they have travel versions of your deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, they also have a wide range of travel adapters for electronics. You don’t want to get stuck not being able to charge your phone or laptop while you’re away, so we suggest you do some research and make a necessary convertor purchase. Hot tip: if you forget this step and can’t charge your phone, most TV’s have a USB outlet in them that you can charge your phone from.

Tony McLarty Optical

Lastly, we suggest you get yourself a new pair of sunglasses. Vacations call for sipping mojitos on a beach while sunbathing – a scene that wouldn’t be complete without a cool pair of shades. You’ll need them for practical purposes as well to protect your eyes from all that sun you’re going to be basking in. The helpful opticians at Tony McLarty will be able to find you a pair that’s as practical as they are fashionable, we promise!

You’ve reached the end of our summer vacay prep list, which means you’re vacation ready! All there is left to do is pack your suitcase and head to the airport. We look forward to welcoming you back to Adelaide when you come home!
