Lunch spots for a day out with the kids

With Christmas fast approaching and there being lots of activities and things to do in the city with the family, it’s important to know where you can keep your kids fed and happy. We have put together a little guide of all the best places to feed your kids and stop to refuel during the busy festive season.

Sushi Train

All aboard and jump on the Sushi Train! Located on Gouger Street, Sushi Train is the perfect spot to stop for a quick bite to eat. With many affordable options and a wide variety of choices you are bound to find something that even the fussiest of eaters will enjoy. You can choose to eat in and sit by the conveyor belt or get take-away and enjoy your meal in a nearby park or Victoria Square. They are open late too! You can visit Sushi Train from 11am until 9pm Sunday to Thursday and until 10pm Friday and Saturday.

Coco Cane

Coco Cane might become a quick favourite for the sweet tooth in the family! After lunch you may want to leave a little room for one of Coco Cane’s indulgent bubble waffles. Choose from a variety of toppings such as strawberries and chocolate or cookies and cream. Don’t forget to get a picture for Instagram as these are truly an Instagramable treat. If dessert isn’t what you are looking for Coco Cane have healthy options too; fresh sugarcane juice and acai bowls all made with fresh ingredients.

Bean Bar, Perfect Cup, Fair Espresso

I think we can all agree that coffee is an essential part to any parent’s day and lucky for you, coffee is in abundant supply at Central Market Arcade! From Bean Bar to Perfect Cup or even Fair Espresso you will be sure to find someplace to stop and refuel with a latte and treat the kids with a babycino or hot chocolate. At Fair Espresso you can even purchase some of their single origin roasted coffee beans to take home with you. We recommend stopping in at any of the great cafés in the Arcade before heading off to any of the Christmas activities in the city.
